Radio Waves

  • Radio Frequencies Signals: are used to transmit all types of information. Are made by magnetic and electric waves.
  • Electric waves are oriented vertically and Magnetic waves horizontally.
  • The electromagnetic radiation is not that harmful as the nuclear radiation, and also is not radioactive.
  • Radio waves travel at speed of light that is: 299792458 meters per second.
  • Lower frequencies=Longer wavelength and vice versa.
  • Speed of light/Frequency=Wavelength
  • AM: KHz-lees capacity to store information.
  • FM: MHz-more capacity to store information.
  • Omni Antenna: it spreads its signal evenly in every direction. It´s non directional.
  •  Directional Antenna: Radio waves are concentrated in one direction.
  • A non directional antenna puts the RF where the viewers are.
  • A single AM tower acts as an Omni Antenna.
  • Three or more AM tower make a Directional Antenna.
  • Radio waves pass through and the vacuum space. Plus, they do not travel well through dense materials as water, metal and concrete.
  • AM broadcasting uses ground waves.
  • The curve of the earth reduces the distance at which RF can be received. The hills do not allow the RF to pass.
  • Trees Absorbs RF, buildings reflects and refract RF causing it to bounce off in many directions.
  • Lower frequencies travel further than Higher frequencies.
  • When both power levels are equal is called Circular Polarity

25% Exam

Exercise: The user had to enter 3 number, then the program should organize it in order ascendent to descendent.

This is my programming code:

#include <iostream>
using namespace std;

int main()
{
  int n1,n2,n3;
  cout<<"Enter the first number";
  cin>>n1;
  cout<<"Enter the second number";
  cin>>n2;
  cout<<"Enter the third number";
  cin>>n3;
  if((n1>n2)&&(n2>n3)&&(n3<n1)){
  cout<<n1<<endl;
  cout<<n2<<endl;
  cout<<n3<<endl;
}
else
{
  if((n1>n2)&&(n2<n3)&&(n3<n1)){
  cout<<n1<<endl;
  cout<<n3<<endl;
  cout<<n2<<endl;
}
else
{
  if((n1<n2)&&(n2>n3)&&(n3<n1)){
  cout<<n2<<endl;
  cout<<n1<<endl;
  cout<<n3<<endl;
}
else
{
  if((n1<n2)&&(n2>n3)&&(n3>n1)){
  cout<<n2<<endl;
  cout<<n3<<endl;
  cout<<n1<<endl;
}
else
{
  if((n1>n2)&&(n2<n3)&&(n3>n1)){
  cout<<n3<<endl;
  cout<<n1<<endl;
  cout<<n2<<endl;
}
else
{
  if((n1<n2)&&(n2<n3)&&(n3>n1)){
  cout<<n3<<endl;
  cout<<n2<<endl;
  cout<<n1<<endl;
}
}
}
}
}
}
  return 0;
}

Workshop

This activity was a little bit difficult, and the mistakes or the missing words make it worst, but here it is, and basically is better when you try to do it by parts.
The operation was: x^3-√x/b+3c+d/b*√2d-e/2ab=y

Economics

TRADE OPENNESS: is a measure of economic polices that either restrict or invite to trade between countries.
Acording to dominating economic theory, the restrictiveness, lack of trade openness will have an economic effect of slowing economic development/growth.
IMPORTING AND EXPORTING.
EXPORT: Is the sale of goods to a foreign country. Countries want to be net exporters rather than net importers, because net exports increase the wealth of a country, the profits, the economy, etc.
IMPORT: Is the purchase of a foreign manufactured goods in the buyer´s domestic market. The imports are important for businesses and individual consumers.
Exporting and importing helps grow national economies and expands the global market.

Formal trade barries are not neccesarily created to hinder import of good but have the effects of doing so.
